Lord Ganesha

Greetings Everyone!

Today on this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, today I am here on my blog sharing the beautiful
Eco Friendly Paper Ganesha.

And also sharing beautiful Bal Ganesha canvas painting, where even lord ganesha is making a painting of his favorite food "modak" (laddoo).

Today, I am also sharing photo tutorial of this beautiful Canvas Painting of Bal Ganesha, who is also making a painting of his favorite food "modak". Poor mouse is feeling that the modak is real and he is trying to grab the same climbing over the feet of Ganesha.

Best part in this painting is that even Ganesha is making his canvas painting using Immix colors ;) :)

And also, as every artist needs a peaceful place with a cup of coffee or any snack to munch while enhancing their creativity.. likewise here in this painting you will see Ganesha lying halfway down on his cot, relaxing his arm over a cushion and also has his favorite delicacy besides him, which is, a bowl full of modaks.

Materials used for making this painting will be written against each photo and it will be seen highlighted wherein you can just click and go to the Expression craft store page to buy that product.

So, let's begin with the tutorial.

Step 1: Here, I have used a canvas board of size 12" x 10" and applied a coat of Immix Clear Gesso. Then with the help of HB staedtler pencil I have drawn a sketch of Ganesha in his bal (kid) avatar.

Step 2: For background I have used two chalk paints - Fancy yellow and Coral peony. And applied the same diagonally with dabber brush.

Step 3: For skin color I have firstly applied a watery coat of fancy yellow chalk paint randomly to highlight some parts and then for proper skin color I have used mixture of three paints - Snow pearl metallic paintrose petal and mission beige chalk paint

Step 4: Then for the painting which ganesha is making - to color modak I have used two chalk paints Fancy yellow and coral peony. And for its green background I have used two metallic paints Mermaid Song and Citron Verdes. And the stand of the canvas board was colored with Intense copper shimmer metallic paint

Step 5: For his clothes like, for dhoti - Metallic paints Wedding red and Blossom Blush. And for shawl - Metallic paints like Ancient GoldSapphire blue and Purple affair

Step 6:  For flowers and leaves I have used the paints as shown in the picture and its links are available above. For hair and outline - I have used Black Heavy Gesso and Intense copper metallic paint. For cot - I have used Gamma Black Chroma Burst, Intense Copper and Ancient Gold metallic paint. For Crown and jewelry  - ancient gold metallic paint. For mouse - Intense Copper metallic paint.
