Chase your dreams

Greetings!

This is Isha Pai and today I am here to share the pictorial of this beautifully textured "Chase your Dreams" mixed media altered project.

Sentiments used are: Chase your dreams and Live beautifully

There is an open window, birds and butterflies displayed in the project,
which in itself explains that you must fly freely to chase your dreams and live your life beautifully, because remaining in comfort zone will get you nowhere.

Let's begin with the pictorial:

All materials are from Expressions Craft

Step 1: Firstly, I have colored the mdf leaves, window and birds on branch with metallic paints like Tuscan red, wedding red, hunter green and ancient gold.

Step 2: Then I took old leftover wedding card thick cover, and randomly place the corrugated sheets and tree twigs.

Step 3: After getting rough idea about the placement of the above, I them pasted it with glue gun and later applied mixture of Cement/sand/texture paste and deco stone/texture paste randomly.

Step 4: After drying it up with heat tool, I then covered it with heavy white gesso

Step 5: And thereafter, I started with my favorite process, that is, coloring with metallic paints Tuscan red, bronze moon, hunter green and ancient gold. And also added the mdf embellishments along with die cuts like spring leaves, rolled leaf, three leaf set (colored with tempo teal chalk paint, hunter green metallic paint & ancient gold metallic paint).

Step 6: Then I added some white sisal, critter sheet flower, sparrows, butterflies and two sentiments. Lastly I sprayed the project with Bosny spray and sprinkled Fairy dust.

I hope you have liked the pictorial..
